Tyr is a Drow, a member of a once very noble family that felt into disgrace when her father, a prominent business man was deemed guilty for insider trader. Tyr and her mother were exiled from the Hara forest and now she’s attending public school for the first time, her only non-drow friend being Juliet. Determined to blend in, Tyr cut her hair, hit the gym and abandoned her regal wear, imitating the tribeless drow of Roc. While tough on the outside Tyr is an avid bookworm and couldn’t be happier than when she’s reading in the sun

Juliet is the daughter of the demon general, Va’ahrjin  and a human woman. One of the few of her kind, Juliet has struggled her entire life with her identity, never quite fitting in with either side of her lineage. Juliet grew up on the edge of the Hara Forest and that’s how she met Tyr, the two have been best friends ever since. Juliet spends a lot of time listening to music with her cat, Jawz and longboarding around the city.

An ent and a rarity in these parts, Sprig is the daughter of two ambassadors who came to Roc two years ago. Ents do not communicate through verbal means, thus isolating Sprig from many of her peers except for those of an animalistic inclination. While big and sometimes scary looking, Sprig is as gentle as can be and will always seek a nonviolent solution, though she is an expert martial artist and no one can beat her at Street Fighter

Part of a small tribe of Leopard Seal selkies, Leo‘s family moved to Roc when the ice mines of Antarctica closed when she was a child. Like her family, Leo is loud, sassy and friends with everyone she meets. Which is how she became friends with Juliet (not by her choice) and Sprig (being the only one to understand her). Leo is an aggressive competitive swimmer, but will pick shoe shopping over studying any day. Leo sees beauty in all living things, especially the things most would consider horrifying.
